Michelle Asana

Michelle has been studying Ashtanga Yoga and bodywork for 15 years. Her studies and love of travel have taken her to Boulder Colorado, Encinitas California, India, Nepal, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, China, Costa Rica, Malaysia and Japan. In Boulder, she completed a four week teacher training program with senior Ashtanga Yoga Instructor Richard Freeman, as well as her Rolfing Certification. Her classes blend a strong component of body awareness, alignment, core strength and traditional teaching.

John Becram

John has been teaching yoga and meditation in Tucson for 14 years. Commited to assisting others in harmonizing imbalances in the mind body, he has developed a unique application of sequencing of postures to access the tight zones. His delivery is gentle and compassionate yet straight forward and he believes in keeping practice inspiring and uplifting. To challenge your edge and maintain a sense of humour is something he encourages often. His passion is inspiring beginners in the art/practice of yoga.

Jackson Sevanada

Jackson is one of eight Authorized Iyengar Yoga teachers in Arizona. He is a dedicated student of this ancient practice and traditional method of teaching, and gives his love and full devotion to Sri K. Pattabhi Jois for continuously sharing his passion for and knowledge of this practice with those who are sincerely seeking. He began to practice yoga in 1995, shortly after his first class, he realized that instructing yoga was going to be his path.

Callie Ray

Callie began her discovery of yoga in 1997, the same way many others do, at the gym, because we know we should be doing some stretching with our weight programs. Callie found it intriguing that despite working out 5 times a week the yoga classes were extremely challenging and humbling. Two Years ago, Callie developed her classes into what is now known as Strength & Soul Vinyasa Yoga.
